Philadelphia has been serving up beer since well before our founding fathers signed the Declaration of Independence. There’s nothing more American than Baseball and Beer. They just go together. With opening day just a few days behind us and the Phillie’s home opener against the Padres coming up next Monday, we thought a little discussion of how beer offerings at baseball stadiums across the nation have changed since the beginning of time.
With stadium names such as Miller Park, Coors Field and Anheuser-Busch, it clear that beer has big presence in baseball. Sipping an ice cold beer and watching a baseball game on a hot summer day has long been one of America’s favorite past-times.
